Hanji is a Korean rice paper. These images are a series of experimental paintings using oil paint, solvents and found materials as stencils on hanji to embrace the feeling of the large scale image and to show what is underneath. They are paintings with a scuptural component. The found materials used to create impressions are reminiscent of human bone structure.
